Job Location: On the Road Job; Office located at 5064 Whitestone Way NE, Calgary, AB T1Y 1T1 Vacancy: One (1); Preference is given to Canadians, Permanent Residents, Youth, Newcomers or Indigenous people Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, 35-40 Hours per week Employment conditions: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Shift-work, Weekend, Overtime Job start date: As soon as possible Wage : $26.00/Hr ; overtime rate is $39.00/hr (plus 50% of regular rate) after 44 hours/week. Benefits: WCB Hours: 35- 40 Hours / Week ; 7-8 hrs/ day; 2 days-off per week Languages : English Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to 2 years related work experience Work Setting: On the Road Job, work locations may vary; Frequent or constant travel is required from employee Work Site environment: Outdoors; At Heights; Confined spaces; odours Security and Safety: Criminal Record check TASKS: prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted; repair cracks and holes; Mix paint to desired colour and texture; Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings; Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging; apply paint, wall paper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces; estimate costs and materials Equipment and machinery experience: Airless spray equipment; brush painting; conventional spray painting; patterned rollers; roller painting Coating/application specialization: Aggregate painting; paint spraying Wood finishing specialization: staining Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail; hand-eye coordination; ability to distinguish between colours; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Physically demanding Weight handling: up to 23 kgs (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment: steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability: client focus; Efficient interpersonal skills; Flexibility; Initiative; Reliability; Team Player How to apply : By email to cubispainting@gmail.com | |
