We are fully serving Japanese-style cuisine in Vancouver, BC. Now we are hiring the experienced cooks. Employer: JJ 43 Supplies Ltd. (o/a Sushi-Den) Position: Cook Vacancy: 2 Responsibilities: - Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items. - Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes. - Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage. - Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed. - Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use. - Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas. - Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner. - Efficiently resolving problems with customers’ orders. - Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed. Requirement: - Completion of secondary school - 2 years or more experience as a cook. - Japanese-style food cooking experience may be considered. Wage: $17.62 - $18.00 per hour. Working Condition: 30-40 hours a week and 4% of vacation pay will be paid.
