Accountant needed for PROCON MINING AND TUNNELLING LTD
1 Vacancy Location: 4445 LOUGHEED HWY suite 620Burnaby, BCV5C 0E4 Canada
Duties and Responsibilities: As per NOC Financial auditors and accountants (NOC 11100), Accountant:
 Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
 Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
 Prepare reports and audit findings
 Prepare financial statements and reports
 Assist with preparation of annual audited IFRS financial statements and reports
 Participate in preparation of quarterly ASPE Joint Venture financial statements for submission to JV partners
 Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
 Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure
 Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
 Analyze financial documents and reports
 Examine accounting records
 Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits
 Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
 Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
 Assist with managing Fixed Assets and CAPEX
Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Windows
Area of specialization
 Accounting
Salary: $72,100 annually / 30 hours per Week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements / Skills: Languages: English
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Workplace information: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
