Initially created to track automobile parts during manufacturing, QR codes were designed to store large amounts of data and be scanned at high speeds. This breakthrough invention led to QR codes being used for various applications beyond their initial purpose. Dr. Kalam, known as the “Missile Man of India,” foresaw the potential of QR codes in various domains, including education, healthcare, and governance.
