Business Address: 8229 Upper Prairie Road, Chilliwack, BC, V2P 6H3. Work Location: Same as above and various locations throughout British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Type of Employment: Full Time– Seasonal / 6-month contract Estimated Start Date: April 1st 2024 Job Description: Arrange for maintenance and repair work Assist clients/guests with special needs Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery Establish work schedules and procedures Handle emergency situations Monitor quality and production levels Oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Resolve work related problems Supervise operation of mechanical equipment and machinery Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies May drive trucks, vans and other vehicles to transport games and other attractions to amusement attraction sites Occasionally assist amusement park attendants during events Requirements: Education: Some secondary education is required Experience: At least 1 year of experience as Supervisor OR working at an amusement park is required. On-the-job training is provided. Driver's license is an asset. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding Personal Suitability: Team player, Flexibility, Judgement, Reliability, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills This position is physically demanding and involves working in various locations; willing to travel regularly and working outdoors under different weather conditions. Work Setting: Amusement park Language: English is required Salary: $21.50 hourly, 30-40 Hours per week. Benefits: Transportation from one location to another is provided. Accommodation available at a discounted rate. Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. Work schedules will vary from day to day. Shifts are available from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
