O/A Mo’s Restaurant Business Information: Mo’s Pizza takes pride in our Full-Load, Old Fashioned, Pan Pizza, freshly baked in our bake Business Address: 7070 Market St., Port Hardy, BC, V0N 2P0 Work Location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies. Inspect kitchens and food service area Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Order supplies and equipment Supervise kitchen staff and helpers Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Clean kitchen and work areas Manage kitchen operations Ensure quality of food Work with minimal supervision Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, etc.) Wash dishes Requirements: Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Repetitive tasks. Tight deadlines. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal Suitability Excellent written and oral communication skills. Initiative. Client focus. Effective interpersonal skills. Team player. Organized. Dependability, Flexibility. Reliability. Time Management Language: English is required Salary: $20 hourly, 40 hours per week. Benefits: Uniforms, meals are included during working hours. Important Information: Position requires flexibility in scheduling, possible overtime might be required (evenings, weekends and holidays).
