Promised Plumbing Ltd. is currently looking for a full-time experienced ‘Plumber’ to join our growing team. Job Position: Plumber Vacancy: 1 < Job Duties > - Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems. - Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment. - Fitting and repairing various household appliances. - Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance. - Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. - Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines. - Repair and replace system issues such as clogged drains, faucet problems, broken drainage lines and so on. - Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. - May prepare cost estimates. < Job Requirements > – Completion of secondary school is usually required. – High school, college or industry courses in plumbing would be an asset. – 5 years of work experience(apprenticeship) as a Plumber in the trade is usually required. Hourly Wage: $34.62 – $35.00 per hour. Working Hours: 30 – 40 hours a week. Benefit: 10 days or 4% of gross income for paid vacation per year.
