Herald Language College is looking for a full-time Secretary (NOC 13110) position. Employer: Herald Education Vancouver Inc. (o/a Herald Language College) Job Position: Secretary (NOC 13110) Vacancy: 1 Business/Working Location: #970-789 West Pender St, Vancouver, BC V6C 1H2 Working conditions: - Wage: $25/hour - Working hours: 30-40 hours per week - Benefits: 4% of vacation pay and 10 days of paid vacation - Term of Employment: Full-time and Permanent position Job Duties: - Answer and direct phone calls. -Organize and schedule appointments with clients. -Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms. -Assist to prepare presentations. -Maintain a filing system. -Update and maintain office policies and procedures. -Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers. -Maintain contact lists. -Provide general support to educators and other staff. Requirement: - Completion of a one- or two-year college program is usually required. - Previous experience as a secretary or in a similar administrative role within a clerical setting is preferred. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work well under pressure.
