As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our team. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for delivering automotive service, we invite you to apply. Requirements: • Education: College certificate in Automotive Service Technician or a related field • Experience and skills: o Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic o Proficiency in utilizing digital automotive repair and diagnostic databases o Familiarity with manufacturers' procedures and standards is an advantage o Able to drive manual transmission vehicles o Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude o Excellent problem-solving skills o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment o Customer service-oriented with good communication skills Duties include: • Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicles, including diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical issues. • Conduct inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements and provide excellent customer service by explaining repair options. • Follow manufacturers' guidelines and procedures for quality control and safety. • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components, utilizing power tools and equipment. • Conduct welding and fabrication when required and perform heavy lifting as necessary. • Communicate and collaborate with the external parts supplier to obtain necessary components, ensuring seamless coordination for timely repairs and maintenance tasks. • Perform road tests on vehicles as required, ensuring the proper functionality of repairs and addressing any additional concerns that may arise during testing. Job details: • Terms of employment: Full time, permanent position • Hours: 35 hours per week. • Wage: $34-42/hour.
