Work Location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full Time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Write, modify, integrate, and test software code Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required Identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications Research and evaluate a variety of software products Install, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of software Requirements: Education: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related discipline OR Completion of a college program in computer science is required. Experience: A minimum 3 years of experience in an IT consultancy or software development role are required Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication, Initiative, Client focus, Accurate, Judgement, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Organized Computer and Technology Knowledge: Common Microservice/Microfrontend RESTful API Socket Programming Backend Java, Clojure Amazon Web Services (S3, Lambda, IAM, Chime, Cognito, RDS) Postgres ORM Relational Databases Frontend HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, TypeScript React State Managements (one of Redux, Zustand, or Context API) Web Components (Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, StencilJS) ECMA Script BabelJS Package Managers (NPM, YARN) Design & Design System (Figma) Code Formatters and Linters (Prettier, ESLint) Visualisation (YFiles) Realtime Collaboration (YJS) Text Editor (Lexical) PDF Editor (PDFJS, FabricJS) Amazon Chime Chat Service -Language: English is required Salary: $39.83 hourly, 40 hours per week.
