SHIPPER-RECEIVER (NOC: 14400) Posted on December 14, 2023, by Toute Sweet Cakes and Pastries JOB DETAILS Location Woodbridge, Ontario L4L 8Z3 Salary $21.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Shift, Weekend Start date Starts as soon as possible Vacancies 1 vacancy OVERVIEW Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience Experience an asset RESPONSIBILITIES Tasks • Determine method of shipment • Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents • Maintain internal record-keeping system • Record shortages and reject damaged goods • Route goods to appropriate storage areas • Pack goods to be shipped • Unpack goods received • Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments • Oversee loading and unloading of goods Experience and specialization • Computer and technology knowledge • Spreadsheet • MS Excel • Equipment and machinery experience • Dollies and hand trucks • Scanner ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Work conditions and physical capabilities • Fast-paced environment • Attention to detail • Repetitive tasks • Physically demanding • Large workload • Overtime required • Tight deadlines WHO CAN APPLY TO THIS JOB?
