First sinner? | |
I believe Satan was the first sinner due to pride, this is well documented in Isaiah and Ezekiel; plus, he knows he is doomed already, God sentenced him to die (son of perdition). He wants to upset God's plan and have lots of company in that lake of fire [misery loves company]. Thus, he tempts all who will listen to him, to disobey God and join him, to separate themselves from God. God devised a plan of salvation, [I believe based on Satan's original sin] (see Hebrews 2:14). He lovingly gives us an option. In other words, we must make a choice in this life; are we gonna follow God or Satan? A question to ponder: Did God create man sinful or the situation in which man would be sinful and become aware of eternal death? I know this, God does not allow sin in His presence. God is perfectly holy and righteous and cannot have fellowship with those who are wicked and defiled by sin. “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2; Ezekiel 44:25-26; Revelation 21:4, 8, 27). Romans 5:12 Very interesting. It says, by one man, sin entered {into the world}. (Part of God's plan)? (The sin of this one man Adam, caused death [spiritual death] to rule over all, to be something everyone must face in this life on earth (part of God's plan?). Greater is God's wonderful grace and His gift of righteousness, for all who will receive it [make the right choice] will live and triumph over sin and death through this one Man, Jesus Christ). (Also, see 1 Corinthians 15:21-22). {Into the world}: Among mankind; (John 1:10; 3:16-17). The term “world” here is used to denote human beings, the race, the human family. Genesis 3:4-6; Satan [the original sinner] tempted and deceived Eve, he talked her into separating herself from God. She convinced Adam to do likewise. First example of this in the Bible. Was it meant to be important enough to put it in the front of the book? Is this act of sin on their part, a part of God's plan of salvation? Are Satan and his followers part of that plan? Something to meditate on, for sure. Revelation 21:7-8; Verse 7 are those that overcome, they choose God. Verse 8 gives us a list of those that don't overcome, they choose Satan (for example, liars and unbelievers. He is the father of it; read John 8:44. The result of their [continued] actions in this life [verse 8] is the second death, the death of the spirit. Those that follow Satan and choose to be separated from God lose the possibility of eternal life. They were not repentant)! http://americanwisdomseries.com/Plan%20of%20God.html (lengthy, but very informative; take your time when reading it) www.biblestudysite.com/realsin.htm (try this website also, again, a bit lengthy but informative) I certainly do not believe that eating a piece of fruit caused us all to be condemned [we need to research what is actually being talked about in those verses]. I realize He wants all to repent and I believe He has created a plan towards that goal (2 Peter 3:9). But, does His plan of salvation include Eve's choice in fruit? I certainly believe all Bible passages, I don't have them all properly arranged in my mind as of yet, I don't understand all there is to understand. I know they disobeyed God, but, I also know that “forbidden fruit” doesn't mean what most think it does. Some ask, how then is sin committed? “But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own fleshly desires. When that desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death” (James 1:14-15). “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). This is spiritual death which is being eternally separated from God [result of sin]. Just a thought: how do those desires get into you? Could they be part of God's plan? All I know is that sin separates us from God. The reason/purpose sin is here is more important than how it got here in my mind. It is more important to deal with sin according to God's way, not man's way. Make the right choice! | |
