Job Description Skookum Scaffolding Ltd. is currently seeking Scaffold Supervisors (Carpentry Supervisors NOC 7204) to work in the Lower Mainland of BC on a full-time basis. Vacancies 4 REQUIREMENTS • Punctual and reliable • Minimum 2+ years experience in Scaffolding industry (references required) • High School Diploma • Valid Driver's License • Knowledge of Tube & Clamp scaffold system is highly desirable • Fall protection certification is desirable • Able to read drawings and build scaffold accordingly • Able to work within timelines • Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers and management. • Hard hat and CSA approved steel toe boots to maintain CSA standards • Training of junior workers • Ensure safe work procedures are followed • Assist with the installation/dismantling of scaffolding including tube & clamp, ring system and frame systems • Driving, delivering and picking up orders from job sites • Operate Flat- deck truck when required • Promote and demonstrate a safe work environment • Work closely with engineers and clients • Report employee hours to payroll • Supervise and schedule the activities of carpenters/metal erectors/scaffolders who construct and maintain scaffold structures • Requisition materials and supplies • Maintain CSA standards when necessary • Prepare safety plans and reports • Manage daily toolbox meetings WORKING CONDITIONS • Must be willing and able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions year-round.
