Hiring: Chef Employer: Momo Sushi Cafe Ltd. o/a Momo Sushi Japanese Restaurant Job Location: 377 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC V1Y 6N6 Position: Chef Position Available: 1 Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Wage: $35.00 per hour Working Hours: 30~40 hours per week Benefits: • 4% Vacation Pay • Free meal during working hours • Tip Job duties: • Direct, prepare or supervise cooking and other food preparation activities on a daily basis. • Plan and evaluate the budgets on ingredients, foods, and labour costs and menu pricing with owner. • Establish kitchen staff’s schedules. • Plan and develop new recipes and menus. • Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions. • Inspect cooking equipment, supplies, work areas and ingredients to ensure constant conformance to regulatory standards. • Order ingredients and other kitchen supplies needed to ensure efficient operations. • Ensure safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen. • Hire and train kitchen staff.
