Job Position: Retail and Wholesale Meat Cutter Number of Openings: 1 Language at Work: English Job Description: - Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting - Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat - Wrap and package prepared meats - Remove bones from meat - Weigh meats for sale - Grind meats and slice meats using powered grinders and slicing machines - Inspect the quality of meat expiry dates and ensure proper product rotation - Ensure the maintenance of equipment, displays and work area - Comply with government health and safety standards and occupational health and safety standards. Job Requirement: - Completion of secondary school is required. - Experience an asset.
