Our restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Vancouver and fully serves from classic tacos, quesadillas, burritos, to new additions from traditional recipes with local, organic, and sustainable products, when possible. We are now hiring an experienced full-time Cook. Employer: La Taqueria Taco Shop Ltd. (o/a La Taqueria Pinche Taco Shop) Position: Full-time Cook Vacancy: 1 Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods - Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers - Oversee kitchen operations - Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment - May clean kitchen and work area - May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies. Requirement: - Completion of secondary school. - 2+ years of cooking experience in restaurants are required. Wage: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour. Working Condition: 30-40 hours a week.
