Salary: 24.50 hourly / 40 hours per Week Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Weekend Start date: Starts as soon as possible Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience Will train On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Tasks Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses AZ class license Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Experience and specialization Documentation knowledge Driver logbook Transportation/travel experience International Long-haul Additional information Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Physically demanding Sitting Weight handling Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Who can apply to this job?
