Glacon Glazing and Construction Inc. in Langley, BC is looking for qualified glaziers. Conditions Position: Glazier Vacancy: Three (3) Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent Compensation: $29.50 to $31.50 per hour Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay Work Location: Various location in Lower Mainland Job Duties & Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications • Determine type of glass, frames and material required • Position and secure panes in frame • Install window and other hardware • Repair glass doors and other glass structures • Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment • Repair and service commercial windows and other glass supporting structures, and replace damaged glass or faulty sealant Requirements • Completion of secondary school • A minimum of 2 year of glazing experience • English skills Work conditions and physical capabilities • Physically demanding • Handling heavy loads • Bending, crouching, kneeling How to Apply Email: recruit.glacon@gmail.com (Please send your resume by email with ‘Glazier’ on the subject line.)
