Join our team! Colonial Countertops in Burnaby is seeking a skilled and experienced tile setter to join us. Are you ready to take your expertise to the next level? Apply today! Main duties -Cut, polish and install natural stone and slabs. - Perform all tiling & stone installation duties. -Prepare cut and install stone and tiles on surfaces - Read blueprints & drawings to calculate materials as needed on our machines. -Consult with management to plan and cut Granite, Quartz, Marble and other natural stones to the required size and set stones and install larger pieces as per client’s instructions. -Use and operate machines including blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions -Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs and other stone products to specific shape and design and to produce a smooth finish. Terms of employment: Full-time (40 hours/week), indeterminate. Overtime as per BC labour laws after 40 hours a week. Medical benefits covered by Blue Cross are offered.
