Labourer - metal fabrication needed for Certa Industries 2 Vacancies Location: 1308 8 St Nisku, AB T9E 7M1 Canada Duties and Responsibilities: As per NOC 95101 - Labourers in metal fabrication; Labourer - metal fabrication: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products, Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers, Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials, Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment, Clean machines and immediate work areas, Read and interpret work orders, Polish metal products to mirror finish, Load and unload vehicle Salary: $24.00 / hour for 30-40 hours per week Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: As soon as possible Employment conditions: Overtime, Morning, Day, Evening Requirements / Skills: Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves Transportation/Travel Information Valid driver's licence, Own transportation Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Handling heavy loads, Fast-paced environment, Large workload Personal Suitability Flexibility, Reliability, Dependability, Team player Equipment and Machinery Experience Hand tools, Lifting device, Dolly Weight Handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Work Setting Structural steel plant, Metal products manufacturing company Benefits: Health benefits Health care plan, Vision care benefits, Dental plan, Disability benefits How to apply: By email: certaindustriesjobs@gmail.com Underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply!
