Business Address: 4890 Canoe Pass Way, Unit 504, Tsawwassen, BC, V4M 0B3 Work Location: Same as above and 12740 Trites Road, Unit 65, Richmond, BC, V7E 3R8 Type of Employment: Full time–Permanent Anticipated Start Date As soon as possible Job Duties: Change machinery attachments Caulk decks and hulls Monitor machine during operation Install trims, rudders, seats, engine mounts and other accessories Repair boats Inspect assembled boats for defects and conformance to quality standards Mark defects to be repaired Affix seal or tags to approved products Check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications Complete reports on product inspection Screw, clip, glue, bond, weld or otherwise assemble parts and components to repair products Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools Clean work stations and remove scraps, dust, shavings or other by-products from machinery and surrounding areas May make routine changes of dies, nozzles or other machinery attachments as required. Requirements Education: Completion of secondary education is required Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity Personal suitability: Flexibility, Reliability, Team player Work Site Environment: Noisy, Outdoors Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Language: English is required. Salary: $27.50 hourly, 40 hours per week Benefits: Uniform provided by employer, Free parking available, Transportation among work locations provided by employer. Important Information: The regular schedule will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday. Work on weekends may be required depending on the business needs.
