Employer: Family Gill Employer Adress: Mont-Saint-Hilaire, QC J3H 5R6 Work Location: See above Type of Employment: Full Time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Shop for food and household supplies Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens Bathe, dress and feed infants and children Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Organize, activities such as games and outings for children Prepare and serve nutritious meals Prepare infants and children for rest periods Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants Supervise and care for children Tend to emotional well-being of children Requirements Education: High school diploma is required Experience: A minimum of six months of experience as a child caregiver or a related field is required. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Repetitive tasks; Work under pressure; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Sitting; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Fast-paced environment; Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills; Excellent oral communication; Excellent written communication; Initiative; Organized. Language requirement: English is required Salary: $16.00 per hour. 30 - 40 hours per week Benefits: If the worker needs to relocate, the employer will pay for the travel expenses. Important Information: Working hours are from Wednesday to Sunday from 14:00 to 20:00, with two paid lunch breaks of 30 minutes and a paid coffee break of 15 minutes. 6 hours of work per day minimum. Work during mornings and/or night could be required. -The worker will be responsible for the care of a 3-year-old child and a 1-year-old. -Place of work: Employer's home. -Accommodation at the employer's home is offered as an option at no additional cost.
