We are located in downtown Vancouver and fully serve fresh-made burgers, or vegetarian dishes and cider. Now we are hiring the experienced Cooks. Employer: Beach Ave Bar and Grill Inc. Position: Cook (NOC 63200) Vacancy: 2 <Job Responsibilities> - Cook complete various food according to restaurant recipes. - Set up and maintain workstations with all needed ingredients, tools, and cooking equipment. - Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards. - Check and inspect the quality of ingredients complying with all food safety procedures. - Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping vegetables, cutting meat, preparing sauces etc.) - Prepare meals “to order” efficiently, with the highest health and safety standards. - Monitor refrigeration temperatures and working order of kitchen equipment. - Perform routine cleaning and sanitization. - May assist in training other employees. <Job Requirements> - Completion of secondary school. - 2+ years of commercial cooking experience are usually required. <Preferred> - Ability to follow all sanitation procedures. - Good communication skills. Wage and working hours: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour with 30-40 hours a week. Working Location: Unit 1, 1012 Beach Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V6E 1T7.
