Business address: 1135 Tanaka Ct Suite 120, New Westminster, BC V3M 5X2 Job Location: 1135 Tanaka Ct Suite 120, New Westminster, BC V3M 5X2 Salary: $62,000 per annum Benefits: Health Insurance, disability insurance Terms of Employment: Permanent/Full time (40 hours per week) Language: English No. of vacancy: 1 Duties • Help manage and oversee all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control. • Lead the production team and provide guidance and training on production processes and procedures. • Ensure that all production activities are compliant with Health Canada regulations and standards. • Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units • Stay up to date with changes in regulations and standards and make recommendations for adjustments to the production process as needed. • Help manage vendors, incoming and outgoing inventory and related paperwork. • Help assist with the compiling and completion of batch paperwork. • Assist with shipments – bookings, paperwork, etc. • Assist with overseeing production tasks ranging from sanitation, processing, labelling. • Organize and maintain daily & weekly records. • Help organize, operate and perform routine maintenance on production machinery. • Adhere to safety and quality standards and raises issues as appropriate. • Follow work and communication procedures. • Contribute to a high-performance work team environment Requirements • 2-3 years of experience in the food or beverage processing industry • Some experience in the cannabis industry • Ability to follow quality control requirements and detailed instructions • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment • Experience managing a production team • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
