Business/Working Location: Suite 200, 940 6 Ave SW Calgary, AB T2P 3T1 Job Position: Bookkeeper (NOC 12200) Type: Permanent, Full-time Wage: $28.85-$29.00 / hour Working Hours: 30-40 hours a week Position Description: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company - Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents - Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies - Assist in budget planning and forecasting - Communicate with other departments and stakeholders to gather financial information and ensure accuracy of data - Provide support for audits and tax fillings Qualifications: -Completion of secondary school is at least required. -Completion of college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required.
