Stone Mills Family Market in Tamworth, ON is looking for a competent Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. Position Available: 1 Wage: C$18.00 per hour Work Hours: 30 ~ 35 hours per week (full-time and permanent) Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary Work Location: 672 Addington St, Tamworth, ON K0K 3G0 Language of Work: English Main Job Duties include, but are not limited to: • Supervise and coordinate the works of cashiers and sales staffs • Assign cashiers and sales staffs to duties and prepare work schedules • Authorize the return of merchandise • Sell merchandise to customers • Resolve problems such as customer complaints and supply shortages, etc. • Maintain inventory and order merchandise • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel issues • Train or arrange for the training of new cashiers and sales staffs • Perform the same duties as cashiers and sales staffs supervised when needed Requirements: Education: Completion of secondary school Experience: A minimum of 1 year of previous retail sales experience Language: English skills Stone Mills Family Market hires on the basis of merit and is strongly committed to equity and diversity.
