Business Address: 1829 Finkle Dr., Oshawa, ON, L1K 0R4 Work Location: 545 Durham Regional Hwy 47, Unit B, Uxbridge, ON, L9P 1R1 Type of Employment: Full time - Permanent Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Duties: Move tools, equipment, and other materials Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed Clean machines and immediate work areas Inspect repaired vehicles Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired Assist in operation, repair, and maintenance Assist in applying primers and repaint surfaces Assist in mixing paint, blending, and matching colors Assist in replacing front end component, body components, doors and frame and underbody components Assist in repairing or replace interior components Requirements: Education: Some secondary school is required Experience: A minimum of 7 months of experience is required. On-the-job training will be provided Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Fast-paced environment, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for Extended periods, Manual dexterity, Handling heavy loads Personal suitability: Team player, Initiative, Client focus, Accurate, Reliability, Judgement, Organized, Efficient interpersonal skills. Worksite environment: Dusty, Odours, Noisy Language: English is required Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Salary: $28.39 hourly, 30-40 hours per week Benefits: Uniforms at no cost are provided. Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. Work schedule is 5 days per week. Shift is usually from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but it may vary depending on our business’ needs.
