Employer: Concrete K Contractors Ltd. Job Title: Carpenter Vacancy: 1 Business Address: #30, 13499 92nd Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3V 8B7 Job Location: Various Locations, Lower Mainland, BC Wage: $30.00-32.00/hour and entitled to 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross salary for remuneration. Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week. [Duties] -Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. -Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, and be comfortable in using measuring tools. -Manage to measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. -Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware. -Estimate the cost for the customers and materials. [Requirements] Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Experience: Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program OR over four years of work experience in the construction field.
