Our experience is based on the restoration of buildings, concrete repair and cleaning. At LEONREST GENERAL CONTRACTING we are seeking 2 skilled Rope Access Technicians to join our team. As a Rope Access Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at heights using specialized climbing techniques. Your primary focus will be on cleaning windows and maintenance, repairs, and installations in challenging environments such construction sites, and industrial facilities. Responsibilities: - Utilize rope access techniques to access work areas at height safely and efficiently - Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on structures and equipment - Perform window cleaning and restoration of high-rise buildings - Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks - Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times Requirements: - Proven experience as a Rope Access Technician or similar role - Certification in rope access techniques Level 1 to 3 (e.g., SPRAT or IRATA) is required. -Work experience is desirable, but training can be provided to the right candidate but Level 1-3 IRATA or SPRAT certification is required. -Applicants must not be afraid of heights and able to work on ladders and suspended stages -Enthusiasm and decent work attitude - Valid BC driver’s license is an asset, but not required. -Must be able to work while suspended in harness for extended periods of time -Be capable of functioning in climatic extremes. -Criminal record check will be done Compensation: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour Hours of work: 35 to 40 hours a week.
