We, Gon Sushi, are hiring Kitchen Helper positions to prepare ahead for this summer season. We serve Japanese-style blended with Korean-style cuisine such as tempura, teriyaki, donburi, udon etc., and one of our popular specialties, GON’s roll and Gon Special Roll for sushi lovers. Employer: Wandoocong Enterprises Ltd. (o/a Gon Sushi) Position: Kitchen Helper Vacancy: 2 Main Duties: • Cleaning, peeling, and chopping fruits and vegetables. • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. • Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes. • Rotate stock items as per established procedures. • Empty garbage cans and clean them after each meal. • Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage areas. • Sweep and mop floors and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff. Job Requirements: • On-the-job training is provided. • Some secondary school education is usually required. Wage: $17.40 - $18.00 per hour. Working Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week.
