Our restaurant is located in Hope, BC and fully serves a wider range of Japanese-style cuisine and offers take-out and dine-in-service enjoyed by locals and visitors alike at reasonable prices. Now, we are hiring Kitchen Helper positions. Employer: EK Kibo Trading Ltd. (o/a Kibo Japanese Grill & Cafe) Position: Kitchen Helper Open Vacancies: 2 Main Duties: • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. • Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes. • Empty garbage cans and clean them after each meal. • Assist in the cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen (clean counters, equipment, floors, refrigerators, etc.). • Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas. • Sweep and mop floors and perform other duties to assist the cook and kitchen staff. • Ensure the condiments containers are cleaned and filled as required and placed on the tables appropriately. Job Requirements: • On-the-job training is provided. • Some secondary school education is usually required. Wage and working hours: $17.40 - $18.00 per hour with 30 – 40 hours per week Working (Business) Location: 267 King Street, Hope, BC V0X 1L0.
