Worry?

Does it help to worry? No! Read why. All verses come from the KJV Bible.

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

[Don't worry about material things because this will help nothing. If you always worry about material things or money, it will take you in the wrong direction, away from God. Don't miss out on blessings by always worrying, rather trust in the Heavenly Father].

Matthew 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

[Worrying will not add one day to your life, it might take away from your life instead].

A much better choice!

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

[The Kingdom of God is the King and His Dominion. Take action and seek the truth of His Word and make Him first in your life, and He will take care of you; it takes action on your part].

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

[Where should you place your cares and who cares for you]?

I read this recently: worry replaced by prayer, study of the word and obedience to that word equals trust. Absolutely no need to worry if one seeks the Kingdom first. Jeremiah 17:5 and 17:7 tells us where to put our trust and where not to put it. Which is more important, this temporary life on earth or the eternal life in the Kingdom of God? Your choice.

What was that song from the late 80's? Don't worry, be happy. Nothing wrong with a little humor now and then.

Some more things you need to know:

If you want to be free from the bondage of deception, (caused by listening to false teachers, those that are biblically illiterate, liars, etc.), learn the truth by studying the word of God completely as we are commanded to do; don’t be destroyed for lack of knowledge of God’s word. Another really good reason to study is you will not hear God’s word today where you should hear His word (in church).

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

(That famine for hearing the Word of the Lord is upon us now. People are starving for the truth in the Word. Sadly, fairy tales, false teachings, traditions and commandments of men are all that are taught in most churches today. You can overcome the famine by actually studying the word of God yourself; what a concept).

By studying the Bible yourself you will discover amazing things that, sadly, you will never hear while sitting in a church pew.

To conclude, a little food for thought: “Right is right even when everyone is against it; wrong is wrong even when everyone is for it”. (William Penn) Born October, 1644. Died July, 1718. He was probably seeing things happen then much the same as we see today (2023+).
