Forever Cyan Packaging Ltd. is one of the leading eco-friendly packaging providers in Canada. We are looking for a permanent, full-time accountant to join our team. As the company’s accountant, qualified candidate is required to complete the following: • Develop and maintain an understanding of the accounting operations within the organization • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices. • Responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial statements, reporting and analysis. • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable for invoices and ensure accounts are up to date for projects. • Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank • Responsible for payroll accounting and issues • Assist in the management and support of the annual budgeting process. • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures, and internal control. Highlight of Qualifications: • Completion of bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field is required • Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting related work experience is required • Financial analysis and reporting experience is preferred • Knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and practices • Have organized and methodical approach to tasks • Strongly detail-oriented with a heavy focus on maintaining accuracy • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM and various bookkeeping system • Ability to prioritize different tasks and meet deadlines • Strong interpersonal skill Employment Conditions: Vacancy: 1 Term of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Work Location: Unit 163, 21300 Gordon Way, Richmond, BC V6W 1M2 Wage: 35 Per Hour, 30 Hours per week Please forward all resumes to forevercyan.recruit@gmail.com | |
