We pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are currently looking for skilled and motivated Rough Carpenters to join our dynamic team. Job Details: Company: SKYLINE SCAFFOLD Position: Rough Carpenter (Hoarding Carpenter for Scaffolding Projects) Location: Lower Mainland area, with office at 960 Derwent Way, Delta, BC, V3M 5R1 Salary: $32.00 per hour, 40 hours per week Overtime: As per BC Labour laws Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time Start Date: As soon as possible Benefits: Health benefits Vacancies: 2 Language: English Education: • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: • 2 to 3 years of experience in rough carpentry (experience within the Scaffold Carpentry is desirable) Responsibilities: Planning: • Interpret construction plans and drawings to design scaffold hoarding structures. • Determine required materials and layout for projects. Construction: • Assemble and install hoarding structures according to plans and safety regulations. • Build and attach wooden frames, hoarding boards, and secure them to the scaffolding. • Construct engineered scaffold structures and wooden scaffold structures. • Ensure safety and security of hoarding for workers and the public. Maintenance: • Regularly inspect hoarding structures for safety and security. • Perform necessary repairs to comply with safety regulations. Experience and Specialization: • Proficiency with hand tools.
