Employer: Gaya Holdings Ltd.(o/a Gaya Sushi) Position: Full-time Cook Vacancy: 2 Main Duties: - Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. - Prepare and cook food according to recipes. - Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices. - Order or receive food supplies after selecting the best qualities. - Have a solid understanding of different cuisines and food preparation methods. - Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards. - Clean kitchen and work area. - May schedule and/or train kitchen helpers. Qualification: - Completion of secondary school is required. - 2+ years of cooking experience is required. - Cooking experience in Japanese food may be an asset.
