Man made temples?

Isaiah 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
(All verses come from a KJV Bible).

Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

(This verse tells me that He wants our love, not our sacrifices of burnt offerings).

Mark 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

(How long was Jesus in the tomb? Three days, hmm?)

Acts 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Acts 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
Acts 7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things?

Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

(The above verses are very plain in my opinion!)

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

I heard recently on television that some people in Jerusalem are getting ready to build a physical temple. They're also gathering sheep and goats to be used in sacrifices. Why? I freely admit that I do not understand the why. I read today on the Internet that a temple has been built.

Some would say that I'm not understanding the context of the above verses. I would answer back that the context of the above verses is, “He is our creator and we are just part of His creation”. Who are we to tell Him where He is to reside or what He is to do? The next verse puts it in perfect context in my opinion.

Isaiah 45:9 Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
