Our restaurant is located on Granville Island, Vancouver. We fully serve a wide range of daily a Lacarte menus with a wide range of breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and casual lounge sections. We have assembled an amazing team of kitchen and service staff. We are looking for an experienced full-time bookkeeper position. Employer: Dockside Brewing Co. LTD (Dockside Restaurant) Position: Bookkeeper Vacancy: 1 Wage: $31.25 – $32.00 per hour. Working Condition: 30 – 40 hours a week. Working (Business) Location: 1253 Johnston Street, Vancouver, BC V6H 3R9. Job Responsibilities: -Keep financial records, maintain and balance various accounts of the company by using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems -In charge of calculating and issuing cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax and other bills -Complete and submit tax remittance forms, worker’s compensation forms, pension contribution forms and other government documents -Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services -Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Education: -Completion of secondary school is usually required. -Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program OR Experience: -2-3 years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk is required.
