Radish Restaurant offers daily specials and sandwiches to keep your lunch rotation fresh, while our Pasta Room has plenty of goodies for purchase to make your Nook favourites. The restaurant is located in Vancouver, BC and we are now hiring experienced Cook positions. Employer: Radish Kits Limited Partnership (o/a Radish Restaurant) Position: Cook Vacancies: 2 Job Duties: - Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment. - Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) - Cook completed various foods according to our recipe. - Check food while cooking to stir/or turn. - Check the quality of ingredients. - Order or receive food supplies after selecting the best qualities. - Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards. - Work with specialized equipment such as deep-fryer and grill etc. - Clean kitchen and work area. - May schedule and/or train kitchen helpers. - Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices. Job Requirements: - Completion of secondary school. - 2+ years of cooking experience is required. Wage: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Working Hours: 30 - 40 hours a week.
