Position: Food Service Supervisor Employer: Kimbros153&Investment Ltd. (o/a Sushi Umi) Location: 1995 Lonsdale Ave, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2K3 Canada Vacancy: 1 Job Responsibilities: • Establish methods to meet work schedules • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards • Prepare budget and cost estimates • Address customers' complaints or concerns • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage • Prepare food order summaries for chef • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres • Supervise and check assembly of trays • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys • Establish work schedules Requirements: - Completion of secondary school is required. - Completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel, and restaurant management or 2+ years of supervised experience in the food industry is required.
