Job Title: Landscaping Worker (NOC 85121) Company: Spruce Garden Ltd. Company Address: Unit 10, 100 Wood Street, New Westminster, BC V3M 0H6 Wage: $30-$35/hour Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location of work: Various locations in the Lower Mainland, BC Language of work: English Job Description: The Landscaping Worker will perform various tasks to assist in the construction, maintenance, and enhancement of our client’s outdoor spaces, including: • Preparing and grading the soil, installing sod, and planting flowers, trees, and shrubs. • Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers. • Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure optimal water usage. • Applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments to maintain the health of lawns and gardens. • Assisting in the construction of pathways, retaining walls, and other landscaping features. • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety guidelines and environmental regulations. • Performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure longevity and safety. Qualifications: • Education: completion of secondary education • Work experience: minimum 3 months of experience with physical and manual labour Other requirements: • Valid driver’s license • Some work will take place on rooftops or high-rises, fall-protection certification or experience working on heights is required.
