Canman International Consulting Service Inc in the student recruitment and marketing services field has an immediate opening for a Marketing Assistant in South Surrey, BC.

Job Details:

Position: Marketing Assistant (NOC: 11202)
Start Date: Immediate
Terms: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $28.90/hour, 30 hours per week
Overtime Rate: $43.35/hour for work exceeding 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day
Benefits: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary as vacation pay
Location: 300 - 15300 Croydon Drive, Surrey, BC, V3Z 0Z5

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Campaign Support:
- Assist in planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns to promote Canadian study applications, education planning, and career consulting services.
- Coordinate digital and offline marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising.

2. Content Creation:
- Create and manage engaging content (blogs, social media posts, articles) to educate potential clients on Canadian education options, visa services, and career planning.
- Write and proofread marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and website content.

3. Social Media Management:
- Maintain and update the company’s social media platforms (WeChat, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) with relevant content.
- Engage with followers and respond to inquiries about services related to education and immigration.

4. Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the education and immigration sectors.
- Analyze competitor marketing strategies and develop ideas to enhance Canman’s offerings.

5. Client Relationship Management:
- Assist in developing strategies to attract and retain clients through personalized services and customer engagement.
- Respond to inquiries from potential and current clients about study options, immigration policies, and services provided by Canman.

6. Event Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of events, webinars, or seminars related to Canadian study and immigration.
- Assist in the organization of promotional events, including virtual open houses and educational expos.

7. Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Track the effectiveness of different channels in generating leads for study applications and visa services.

8. Email Marketing:
- Create and manage email campaigns to keep clients informed about educational opportunities, deadlines, and immigration policy updates.
- Segment email lists based on client preferences and service needs.

9. Graphic Design Support:
- Work with the design team to create visually appealing marketing materials that represent Canman’s branding.
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all platforms.

10. Collaboration with Teams:
- Collaborate with immigration and education consultant to align marketing efforts with service offerings.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and support.

11. Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support for the marketing department, including maintaining records, scheduling, and coordinating meetings with external partners or agencies.

Employment Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma.
- at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
