We’re looking for skilled and reliable Cement / Concrete Repairers / Finishers to join our team! Location: 220 Victoria Drive, Suite 100, Vancouver, BC V5L 0C7 Workplace: On-site (Various locations within the Lower Mainland) Salary: $33.00/hour Hours: 40 hours/week, Early Morning and Morning shifts Employment Type: Full-time & Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Languages: English Job Responsibilities • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials. • Direct concrete placement into forms or surfaces according to specifications. • Fill hollows and smooth freshly poured cement. • Operate power vibrators for concrete compaction. • Level concrete surfaces to meet grade and depth specifications. • Work at heights using scaffolding or swing stages. • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces with hand and power tools. • Instruct and mentor apprentices. • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and door sills. • Apply hardening and sealing components for surface curing. • Waterproof, damp-proof, and restore surfaces. • Repair, resurface, and replace damaged concrete sections. • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications. Work Environment • Physically demanding and varied conditions, including dusty, hot, cold, and noisy environments. • Must be comfortable working outdoors and at heights. Qualifications • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in concrete repair/finishing. • Transportation: Valid driver's license and personal transportation are desirable. • Tools: Must have a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, and gloves.
