Adam and Eve's purpose?

Please print this out , read it entirely, and use this as a guide to study your Bibles; I used KJV Bible verses only.

Why were Adam and Eve (2 people only) formed by God? Did they have a purpose? Try taking a look at the genealogies of Adam and Jesus Christ. Adams genealogy is in Genesis chapter 5 verses 3 to 32. Please read Jesus' genealogy through His mother Mary in Luke chapter 3 verses 23 to 38. The name (Noe) in the Greek language used in the New Testament = (Noah) in the Hebrew language used in the Old Testament. God formed Adam and Eve to be the lineage that Christ would come through some 4,000 years later. Thus, Eve is called the “mother of all living”. If you believe in Him (Jesus Christ), you are alive, your soul is eternal, it shall not perish (John 3:16). If you don't believe in Christ, your soul will perish, it will be mortal instead of immortal. The death of the soul is the second death.

Adam and Eve (2 people only) were formed to be part of God's plan; Jesus Christ would eventually come through their offspring (seed). Could this be why the forming event is documented separately from the creation of the 6th day people? The 6th day created people (them is plural) were part of God's plan as well, they would not play the same part as Adam and Eve were formed for. Does that make one better than the other? No way, God is not a respecter of persons for any reason (in other words, He doesn't discriminate by showing partiality to anyone, He is totally fair to all). (See Acts 10:34).

They even had different duties here on earth. The 6th day creation were hunters and fisherman; they were given dominion over fish, birds and every living thing (See Genesis 1:26). Adam and Eve were formed to be tillers of the ground (farmers), (See Genesis 2:5, 7 and 15, Eve was his helpmate). Haven't you ever noticed that there was no mention in chapter one of Genesis, whatsoever, of a farmer, a man to till the ground and plant seeds? In chapter two God did not tell this "man" to go forth and replenish the earth as he did those in chapter one. Instead, He (God) prepared a special garden and in it placed this "same man Adam", whom He had formed.

Some say God formed Adam and Eve after the 7th day of rest (8th day perhaps); my KJV Bible does not mention an 8th day of creation specifically. Yet there forming does occur after the seventh day of creation in scripture; very interesting point. Some say that they were created along with or maybe before the 6th day people in Genesis 1:26; again, the KJV Bible is not specific about this in regard to when Adam was formed. In what way does it matter? I'm not 100% sure, but, of course, I and many others would love to truly know. I know the order in which they occur in scripture, that is important to me. Plus, it is quite plain to see the differences in duties and purposes. God's word distinguishes between the two events (1 creation event, 1 forming event) quite clearly. Why isn't the order of events in God's word totally accepted? Many think the account of man's creation in Genesis 1 is just a foretelling of events that will happen after God forms Adam and Eve? Something else to try and explain is Cain's wife in the land of Nod without the 6th day created peoples.

Do the 6th day peoples have genealogies in God's word? Not that I know of. I wonder why not? God had plans for them that were different than Adam and Eve, that's all.

Satan and his followers are continually trying to upset God's plan which involves the lineage of Adam and Eve (he opposes Jesus Christ in all ways). He is still at it today.

I'm not sure what you choose to believe, but I highly recommend you study the Bible completely, not just read it or rely on others to tell you what it says and means.

Another way of putting it follows:

Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
Acts 13:23 Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

[It was God's will that a Saviour (Jesus Christ) would come through King David. This is also known as the key of David (the true Christ's genealogy). Again, Christ's lineage goes all the way back to Adam/Eve, umbilical cord to umbilical cord through King David. This is why Eve is called “mother of all living”; this is talking of eternal life].
