If you are a hard-working, career-focused individual looking to build your skillset, we would love to meet you Employer: K-Green Plumbing & Heating Position: Full-time Plumber Vacancy: 2 Duties: - Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems - Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems - Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors - Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings - Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines - Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment - Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges - May prepare cost estimates. Requirement: – Completion of secondary school is usually required – High school, college or industry courses in plumbing would be an asset – 5 years of work experience(apprenticeship) as a Plumber in the trade is usually required – Require a portfolio regarding experience or work as a plumber that has been done while experiencing as a Plumber. Conditions: Wage: $34.62 ~ $35.00 per hour Working Condition: 30 – 40 hours a week. Benefit: 10 days or 4% of gross income for paid vacation per year. Business Location: 1287 White Pine PL.
