About the Job
Allstar Waterproofing & Restoration Systems Ltd. is looking for experienced Rope Access Technicians (RAT) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in challenging environments. You will be responsible for restoring, cleaning, and painting masonry structures at heights, as well as performing other specialized tasks related to rope access in various urban settings.
Position: Rope Access Technician (RAT)
Location of Work: 220 Victoria Drive, Suite 100, Vancouver, BC V5L 0C7
Hourly Wage: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Full-time, Day shifts with early morning and morning starts
Key Responsibilities
• Instruct apprentices and assist in training
• Perform rope access work to restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures
• Operate safely in a variety of environments, including at heights and in confined spaces
• Follow safety protocols and ensure quality work standards are met
• Work on diverse projects across various locations in the Vancouver area

Job Requirements
• Education: High school diploma and IRATA Level 2 required.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in rope access field
• Certification: Must hold Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA 2) certification
• Languages: English proficiency (written and spoken)

Work Environment
• Working at heights and in confined spaces
• Exposure to challenging work conditions, including dusty, noisy, hot, or damp environments
• Outdoor settings and variable weather conditions
• Work is performed on various construction sites and urban locations
