We are currently seeking an experienced Artistic Director - music to join our talented team. Position: Artistic director - music (NOC 51121) Employer: Vancouver Beauty Dance World Ltd. (o/a Vancouver Beauty Dance World) Location: 5560 Minoru Blvd, Richmond, BC V6X 2A9 Canada Vacancy: 1 Job Responsibilities: - Plan and conduct music lessons for students of various skill levels, focusing on music theory, piano, and other instruments. - Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, ensuring personalized learning and skill development. - Prepare students for recitals, performances, and external music events. - Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement. - Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to learn. - Communicate with parents about their children’s progress and provide practice recommendations. Requirements: - A university degree related to music study is usually required. - 3 + years of experience as a musician is required. - Demonstrated musical talent through a portfolio of work is essential.
