Company name: Protect International Business address: 736 Granville Street, Suite 210 Vancouver, British Columbia Canada V6Z 1G3 Title of the position : Security management specialist Job Duties: • Consult with organizations regarding the assessment and management of risk for violence and other problematic behaviours. • Consult with organizations regarding the investigation of misconduct, fitness for work or study, return to work or study, or reasonable accommodation related to the risk for violence and other problematic behaviours. • Consult with organizations regarding the training and supervision of staff to assess and manage the risk for violence and other problematic behaviours or the investigation of misconduct, fitness for work or study, return to work or study, or reasonable accommodation related to the risk for violence and other problematic behaviours. • Consult with organizations regarding the development and review of policies and procedures or program evaluation related to risk for violence or other problematic behaviours. • Maintain Company records with respect to the delivery of services. • Sales and marketing of existing Company services and products. • Develop new services and products on behalf of the Company. • Recruit, hire, direct, train, and supervise Company employees. • Participate in making and implementing Company decisions related to business structure, finances, strategy, and operations. Wages: $ 75.48/ hr or $ 157,000 per year for 40 hours per week Location of work: 736 Granville Street, Suite 210 Vancouver, British Columbia Canada V6Z 1G3 Contact information: SHart@protect-international.com • Education: minimum Master’s degree in a discipline related to human behaviour, including but not limited to psychology, criminology, and forensic science - a doctoral degree (or equivalent preferred). • Certified as a threat assessment or management professional by the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) or at least eligible to be certified or the Canadian Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (CATAP). • Work Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience delivering services related to risk assessment/management and investigations; training, managing, supervising, or mentoring others to deliver risk assessment/management and investigation services; and policy development/review or program evaluation. This experience should include at least 5 years of experience working in the private sector (i.e., corporate or other non-governmental) organizations. | |
