Accountant needed for PROCON MINING AND TUNNELLING LTD 1 Vacancy Location: 4445 LOUGHEED HWY suite 620Burnaby, BCV5C 0E4 Canada Duties and Responsibilities: As per NOC Financial auditors and accountants (NOC 11100), Accountant: Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies Prepare reports and audit findings Prepare financial statements and reports Assist with preparation of annual audited IFRS financial statements and reports Participate in preparation of quarterly ASPE Joint Venture financial statements for submission to JV partners Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure Prepare income tax returns from accounting records Analyze financial documents and reports Examine accounting records Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems Calculate fixed assets and depreciation Assist with managing Fixed Assets and CAPEX Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Windows Area of specialization Accounting Salary: $72,100 annually / 30 hours per Week Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: As soon as possible Employment conditions: Day Requirements / Skills: Languages: English Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Workplace information: Work must be completed at the physical location.
