Kitchen Manager Holy Chuck- Yorkdale Job details Location North York, ON M2J 3L4 Salary 28.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 3 vacancies Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 7 months to less than 1 year On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Restaurant Responsibilities Tasks Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres Supervise and check assembly of trays Manage kitchen operations Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Inspect kitchens and food service areas Supervise kitchen staff and helpers Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Supervision 3-4 people Cook (general) Experience and specialization Cuisine specialties Canadian International Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Standing for extended periods Physically demanding Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Repetitive tasks Personal suitability Client focus Excellent oral communication Flexibility Team player Initiative Dependability Organized Reliability Who can apply to this job?
