We are looking for experienced line cooks for brunch and dinner, must have a can-do attitude and be coachable. Looking for a person with a good attitude over experience. Position: Line Cook Position Available: 2 Employer: Archer Dining Ltd. Job Location: 1152 Alberni Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1A5 Employment conditions: • Employment Type: Permanent / Full-time • Compensation: $20.00 ~ $22.00 per hour (Depending on experience) • Working hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week Responsibilities: • Cook and complete menus and dishes. • Work in the stations/lines such as grilling, frying, sauteing, broiling, cooking, and preparing as assigned by a chef/sous-chef. • Organize inventory and record to make sure First-in/First-out. • Set up cook stations and stock them with tools, ingredients and preps. • Ensure food and work safety as the company standards. • Train newly hired cook(s) and kitchen helper(s) as per training plans, if needed. Requirements: • Working experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial cooking experience or working experience is an asset for who has a completion of culinary arts program • Education: Completion of high school (secondary education) • Language: English • Must be available to work on all weekends and holidays.
